The 2007 PEI Annual Meeting will offer another great program and build on the momentum of the past two meetings continuing the focus on manufacturing. Theme for 2007 is, “The Globalization of Manufacturing, Opportunities for the Future.” Make your plans today to attend and join the excitement. You can download the information about the meeting and activities scheduled for March 22 – 24, 2007 at the Marriott Beach and Golf Resort in Hilton Head, SC.
 
The balance of the 2007 program is full of several  top-notch speakers and will provide you with new insights into many aspects of the business of manufacturing, selling and marketing in today’s global environment. During these two days, PEI will also conduct its Annual Business meeting (election of officers and directors, committee appointments and reports) and our Board of Directors meeting – both meetings are open to all PEI members and any other interested parties.
 
Please download the information and read it carefully and return the various registration forms promptly. The hotel registration cut-off is on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 - the room cost is $159.00 plus taxes for resort view and $189.00 plus taxes for ocean view. – be sure to call the hotel directly (1-800-228-9290) and make your reservation in the next few weeks. The meeting and activities registration forms are to be returned to PEI by March 2, 2007 - make your plans today to attend.
 
In terms of transportation, Hilton Head Airport is 5 minutes from the hotel and is served by US Airways Express. The Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport is located 45 miles from the resort with air service provided by most major carriers. The weather in late March should be very good, average high temperatures are in the 70’s and average lows are in the 50’s.
